Malone's Walk In Closet: Who are we?

I decided to go into the resale/consignment business. At first I was passive on the idea until I did some research. Studies show that 16-18% of Americans shop at thrift stores, also it shows that 12-15% shop at consignment stores. I decided to take on this task because it seemed right. I'm a intuitive person, and when it comes to taking stakes in a new growing market I'm your girl. I love fashion, I studied branding from TV I also studied marketing in college. Along with the rest of my business courses. While marketing strategies may change, however what remains the same is supply and demand. The economy is getting worse with no chance to recover. People are losing their jobs. Families of 5,6,and 7 still have to shop for clothes Macy's is not going to do it. I wanted to create a service that can help others. I feel it's no point of working if you can't feel good about the job your in. I worked at crazy jobs in my younger days I know I didn't stick it out. According to the book Follow Your True Colors To The Work You Love- You are more likely to make a career at the job your in if your love the work you do. I'm excited for my new venture because proceeds go to The Leatha Malone Youth And Community Center that I've been working on for 2 years. My grandmother was a great asset to her community, and I would like to continue her dream to improve the quality of life, and give kids a chance to learn and grow in a positive environment. God has a purpose for me. It's a large task, but God did part The Red Sea. If I can help one family at a time I'm not living my life in vein.
